Marketing Manager (m/w/d | 80 – 100%) – FajbaGum

Location: Zurich or Bern (hybrid/remote possible)

About FajbaGum
FajbaGum is an evidence-based, innovative start-up at the intersection of nutrition, science, and the consumer goods market. We are developing a novel chewing gum to support weight loss and are currently launching a scientifically based product in a dynamic, rapidly growing market.

Your role
As Marketing Manager, you will assume overall responsibility for the brand image and market launch of FajbaGum. You will work closely with the science, product, and management teams and actively shape the brand development from the outset.

Your responsibilities:

Strategic & operational brand management

  • Developing and implementing brand and marketing strategy

  • Market, competition, and target group analyses

  • Responsibility for annual planning, implementation, and controlling of all marketing activities

Product & innovation management

  • Close cooperation with the science team and production partners
  • Helping to shape the product strategy in line with category development principles
  • Identifying growth and innovation potential

Marketing communication (ATL & BTL)

  • Developing integrated communication concepts (ATL / BTL)
  • Management of creative and media agencies
  • Responsibility for media planning, management, and controlling
  • Implementation of BTL measures and trade marketing activations for key accounts

Budget & Performance

  • Budget responsibility and controlling (revenue, sales, profitability)
  • Derivation of data-based optimizations


Your profile

  • Completed university degree (master’s degree/university of applied sciences) in business administration, marketing, or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in marketing, ideally in FMCG, nutrition, health, or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience in brand building, product management, and communications development
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Experience with ATL communications, media planning, and market research
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on mentality with a strong focus on results
  • Very good communication skills in German and English (French is an advantage)
