Bevor sie ihre neue Stelle antrat, arbeitete Lisa Koch an Machine Learning f\u00fcr die biomedizinische Datenanalyse. Sie verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen Hintergrund in der akademischen Forschung sowie in der Entwicklung von datenwissenschaftlichen Produkten f\u00fcr medizinische Ger\u00e4te, wobei ihr Schwerpunkt auf Technologien liegt, die letztlich der Gesundheit der Menschen auf sichere und vertrauensw\u00fcrdige Weise zugutekommen k\u00f6nnen.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nach einem Bachelor-Abschluss in Elektrotechnik (BSc) und Biomedizintechnik (MSc) an der ETH Z\u00fcrich, Schweiz, promovierte Lisa Koch am Imperial College London, UK, im Bereich maschinelles Lernen f\u00fcr die medizinische Bildanalyse.\u00a0 Nach einem Postdoc-Aufenthalt an der ETH Z\u00fcrich wechselte sie zum Schweizer Startup Ava, wo sie schliesslich die Leitung des Data-Science-Teams \u00fcbernahm. In dieser Position lernte sie die Notwendigkeit von nachweislich sicherem Machine Learning im Gesundheitswesen kennen. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In ihrer neuen Rolle als Assistenzprofessorin an der Universit\u00e4t Bern ist es ihr langfristiges Ziel, nachweislich sichere, <\/span>zuverl\u00e4ssige <\/span>und effektive Data-Science-Tools f\u00fcr patientenspezifische Behandlungssysteme in der Diabetesversorgung zu<\/span> entwickeln.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
