Ziel ist es, innovative Projekte im Bereich des Diabetesmanagements auf schweizerischer und internationaler Ebene gezielt zu f\u00f6rdern. Die teilnehmenden Innovatorinnen und Innovatoren profitieren von professionellem Expertenfeedback, und die f\u00fcnf besten Projekte erhalten Zugang zu einem Bootcamp. Den Finalist:innen winkt ein Preisgeld von bis zu 100.000 USD sowie weitere Unterst\u00fctzung durch das DCB.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mehr als 537 Millionen Menschen auf der ganzen Welt leben mit Diabetes und stehen t\u00e4glich vor grossen Herausforderungen. Technologische Neuerungen spielen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Vereinfachung des Diabetes-Managements.<\/p>\n

Die DCB Open Innovation Challenge<\/strong>, die 2021 ins Leben gerufen wurde, soll die Forschung im Bereich der Diabetes-Technologie f\u00f6rdern und neue Ans\u00e4tze finden. Unser Ziel ist es, bahnbrechende L\u00f6sungen zu erarbeiten, die die Lebensqualit\u00e4t von Menschen mit Diabetes verbessern. Wir suchen Ideen! Egal, ob Du in der Forschung, in der Gesundheitsversorgung, in der Wirtschaft arbeitest oder jemand bist, der mit Diabetes lebt – Deine Ideen sind von unsch\u00e4tzbarem Wert. Wir suchen nach verschiedenen Perspektiven und innovativen L\u00f6sungen, um Diabetes-Technologie voranzutreiben.<\/p>\n

Mitmachen und profitieren<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Im Anschluss an die erste Auswahlphase nehmen die 15 besten Teams<\/strong> an einem Mentorenprogramm unter fachkundiger Anleitung teil. Weiter werden die 5 besten<\/strong> Teams ausgew\u00e4hlt, um an einem exklusiven Bootcamp in der Schweiz (8.-11. September 2025)<\/strong> teilzunehmen, wo sie massgeschneidertes Coaching, Mentoring und Medientraining erhalten.<\/p>\n

Ausserdem werden die Finalistinnen und Finalisten die M\u00f6glichkeit haben, ihre Ideen auf dem DTM-Meeting in den USA vom 27. bis 30. Oktober 2025<\/strong> zu pr\u00e4sentieren. Dank unserer laufenden Zusammenarbeit mit der Diabetes Technology Society bietet diese Veranstaltung eine fantastische Chance, sich in den USA zu pr\u00e4sentieren.<\/p>\n

Der Wettbewerb findet seinen H\u00f6hepunkt am Tag der Innovation und der Preisverleihung in Bern, Schweiz (5. November 2025<\/strong>), wo eine internationale Expertenjury das Siegerprojekt ausw\u00e4hlen wird.<\/p>\n

Das Siegerprojekt wird von einer internationalen Expertenjury ausgew\u00e4hlt und mit 100.000 USD in Form von Geld- und Sachleistungen belohnt. Damit ist die DCB Open Innovation Challenge der weltweit gr\u00f6sste Diabetes-Technologiepreis mit internationalem Appeal. Du erh\u00e4ltst Zugang zu einem globalen Netzwerk von Expert:innen aus der Branche \u2013 und die Idee bleibt dabei ganz allein deine.<\/p>\n
