Die zurzeit erh\u00e4ltlichen Messsysteme \u2013 sogenannte kontinuierlich messende Glukosesensoren – bestimmen die Glucosekonzentration in der Gewebefl\u00fcssigkeit unter der Haut. Diese Glukosewerte sind gegen\u00fcber den eigentlichen Blutglukosewerten um mehrere Minuten verz\u00f6gert. Durch Aktivit\u00e4t, Nahrungsaufnahme, Hormonschwankungen oder Krankheit k\u00f6nnen sich die Glukosewerte im Blut rasch \u00e4ndern. Dies bringt heutige erh\u00e4ltliche Glukosesensoren an ihre Grenzen und erschwert Systeme, welche von dieser Messung abh\u00e4ngig sind \u2013 so zum Beispiel Systeme zur automatisierten Insulinabgabe. Um diese Systeme zur komplett automatisierte Insulinabgabe (sogenannte \u00abclosed-loop Systeme\u00bb oder \u00abk\u00fcnstliche Bauchspeicheldr\u00fcsen\u00bb) zu erm\u00f6glichen, werden neue Sensoren, die den Glukosegehalt im Blut in Echtzeit, also ohne Verz\u00f6gerung messen.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die Glukosesensoren werden verschiedene optische Methoden kombiniert, die die Glukosekonzentration direkt im Blut messen. Des Weiteren besch\u00e4ftigt sich dieser Forschungsbereich mit alternativen Methoden zur Detektion von Glukosespiegeln durch minimal-invasive und nicht-invasive Technologien in Verbindung mit der Messung von physiologischen Parametern, wie Herzfrequenzvariabilit\u00e4t, Atmung, Blutdruck und Aktivit\u00e4t. Um eine patientenspezifische Diagnose und Behandlung zu erm\u00f6glichen, sind auch Sensoren f\u00fcr die Messung von Hormonen, Ketonk\u00f6rpern, Fetten und Laktat von Interesse. Durch die Anwendung von smarten Algorithmen k\u00f6nnen verschiedene Parameter kombiniert werden und St\u00f6rfaktoren herausgerechnet werden.<\/p>\n
